Problem & Solutions
Hema was unhappy with her overlapped & stained teeth that made her look older than she felt. She wanted a natural looking smile that made her look younger. She had always put herself last and felt it was finally time to do something special for her self. She rarely showed her teeth when smiling in pictures.
Dr. Patel straightened her teeth and gave her a younger & whiter smile with 16 porcelain restorations. He also gently re-contoured her gums to achieve that radiant smile.

Chipped and worn teeth
Teeth can chip or become worn down as we age, resulting in difficulty chewing and an uneven smile. Accidents and trauma to the mouth may also result in chipping. Chips can be covered by porcelain veneers, mended with dental bonding, or covered with crowns.
Crooked teeth
Many adults who did not have orthodontic treatment as children want to have their teeth straightened as adults. This can now be done conveniently and unobtrusively with invisible braces or in many cases, porcelain veneers are a good solution for hiding any misalignment.
Old crowns
Crowns often crack or discolor when they’ve become too old. Many people have metal crowns on their front & back teeth, and these can now be replaced with strong porcelain crowns that match your natural tooth color. Older crown also cause darkness or an unsightly black line at the gum line, especially if the gums have receded. This can be improved with porcelain crowns that appear more natural and seamless.
Discolored teeth
Discoloration from the effects of smoking, coffee, tea, red wine, and other stains can be erased with tooth whitening procedures, or with porcelain veneers or crowns.
Old metal fillings
Old metal fillings darken over the years and can discolor the whole tooth. They can be removed and replaced with porcelain fillings custom made to match your tooth’s natural color.
Worn teeth
Teeth may wear down due to grinding, nail biting, decay or the aging process. They can be built up with bonding, or covered with porcelain veneers or crowns. Teeth that are greatly worn down may be replaced with crowns.
Gaps in your smile
If you have gapped teeth that make you feel self-conscious, there are several cosmetic dentistry options you can potentially use to close or cover that gap: porcelain veneers, crowns, invisible braces (Invisalign®) or bonding .
Misshapen teeth
As with gapped teeth, there are several treatment options to correct misshapen teeth: porcelain veneers, bonding, crowns and bridges. Your cosmetic dentist will determine the best way to restore your smile’s natural beauty.
