  1. I had braces when I was younger, but I’m still not happy with the results. I don’t want to have a mouth full of metal now, but I’d like straighter teeth.

    Invisalign® may be the answer for you. With the Invisalign® system, your dentist will fit you with a series of removable clear aligners that gradually realign your teeth. The process generally takes about a year, but may vary depending upon the amount of correction needed.

  2. My 15-year-old daughter wants to have her teeth straightened, but she doesn’t want traditional braces. Is she a candidate for Invisalign®?

    Invisalign® is intended for adult orthodontia. However, your cosmetic dentist can evaluate your daughter and make the appropriate recommendations for treatment.

  3. I’m 54. Am I too old for Invisalign®?

    Not at all. Many adults your age and older have been successfully treated with Invisalign®. The clear aligners are popular with adults because they are virtually invisible when worn, and they’re removable. Consult your dentist for an evaluation to see if Invisalign® is the right treatment for you.

  4. Do I need to be careful about what I eat?

    No, you can maintain your usual diet and eat all your favorite foods. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign® aligners are removable, so you can take them out while you eat. It is important that you brush and floss regularly when you wear any orthodontic appliance.
